Blazers Clog The Pistons

----- The Trail Blazers extend their winning streak to an NBA-best 12th straight win with a 100-87 victory over the Detroit Pistons Saturday night at Moda Center. The streak is the longest in the Terry Stotts era.

Damian Lillard led Portland (43-26) with 24 points and flirted with a triple-double as he added eight assists and seven rebounds. All five Blazers' starters scored in double figures as Portland controlled the game from start to finish.

''During this entire run a lot of the things we've done have been about us,'' Lillard said. ''Us communicating, being on the string defensively, locking into the scouting report and knowing what hurt us the last time we played these teams, and also trusting each other on offense, and making other teams have to work to stop us instead of being easy to guard.''

Jusuf Nurkic worked through early foul trouble to finish with 13 points, eight rebounds, and three assists on 6-for-12 shooting. Al-Farouq Aminu had a solid all around game with 10 points and 12 rebounds while playing solid defense on Blake Griffin.

With the win, Blazers coach Terry Stotts tied Nate McMillian for third-most wins in team history (266).

NEXT UP- The Trail Blazers will play the the second of a back-to-back tomorrow night in Los Angeles against the Clippers. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 PM.
