Gary Andersen started a tradition at Oregon State during football training camp. A visit to Bend to get some big time summer heat. To reach out to Beaver Nation and to showcase his football program.
First-year Coach Jonathan Smith thinks its a good idea to continue the trip! The team will visit the Bend area August 21-23 as the final location of this year's five location Beaver State tour.
“Our team enjoys the chance to travel to other communities around the state (OSU held an April practice at Mountainside High School in Beaverton) to embrace Beaver Nation and we are excited about the return to Bend,” Smith said.
The Beavers will hold a scrimmage on the 23rd at Noon and afterwards the players and coaches will be available to chat and sign some autographs and there will be a poster!
