Damian Lillard Suffers Knee Injury In Blazers 135-115 Loss To Lakers

----- The Los Angeles Lakers shake, rattle, and roll the Trail Blazers 135-115 Monday night to take a commanding 3-1 series lead in their best-of-seven Western Conference first round series.

2019-2020 has been a season to forget for the Portland Trail Blazers!

Damian Lillard, who suffered a dislocated finger in Game 2, left Game 4 on Monday with a right knee injury and did not return. The injury occurred late in the third quarter when Lillard performed a jump-stop on a drive to the rim.

Blazers Head Coach Terry Stotts confirmed with reporters following the game that Lillard was undergoing an MRI on his right knee.

The Blazers are already without Rodney Hood, Trevor Ariza, Zach Collins, and now could face the possibility of playing a must-win game five Wednesday without their franchise player.

Game four was over moments after it started when the Lakers raced to a 15-0 lead in a wire-to-wire win for the Lakers 135-115 taking a commanding 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven first round series.

After the game, Coach Stotts was asked to describe the team's position following the game four loss.

''Not good. You're down 1-3, it's a tough position against a good team,'' Stotts said. ''We'll regroup, it's one game at a time. You can break out all the cliches, but we know what we're up against when you're down to a good team 3-1, so we've got to battle.''

Lebron James Led Los Angeles with 30 points and 10 assists and Anthony Davis added 18 points in 18 minutes. The Lakers connected on 56.3% of their shots including 17-of-39 from three-point range.

After struggling with fatigue in game three, Jusuf Nurkic bounced back to lead the Blazers with 20 points and 13 rebounds on 7-for-10 shooting.

Up Next- Lakers and Blazers will play game five Wednesday night in Orlando. The game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 PM.
