Lebron Crying-James

Regardless of whether you are a Lebron fan or not, I'm guessing most of you would believe that NBA stars get preferential treatment from the refs. That's been known for a long time. Established stars get the calls and the blue-collar players take the brunt of the bad calls until they too earn the respect of the officials. As for the Lakers, most fans believe the league has always wanted to protect and help promote the large markets like Los Angeles and Boston. I would suggest no team and no star has received better treatment from the officials over the years than James and the Lakers. However, James would like to disagree.

Following the overtime loss to the Celtics due to the missed-call, James acted as if he and the Lakers are getting screwed by the league and the officials. Spare us the tears Lebron. There's no doubt the officials missed the call, it was obvious and they admitted as much. But how many stars get a written apology from the refs union? James did, it's a bad look for the league.

I have been telling Blazers fans for years to expect poor officiating so that you're not shocked when bad calls happen. In my opinion, the officiating is poor and inconsistent on a nightly basis. That's why you need to prepare yourself before the game is played.

For now, just sit back and enjoy Lebron crying about a blown call when he's been coddled by the league for 20-years.
