Trail Blazers Burn The Heat

----- Anfernee Simons scored a team-high 24 points and Deandre Ayton finished with 22 points and 15 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Miami Heat 116-107 Tuesday night at Kaseya Center in Miami.

Strength in Numbers!

All five Trail Blazers' starters scored in double-figures as Portland made it back-to-back wins with a 116-107 victory over the Miami Heat Tuesday night at Kaseya Center in Miami.

Anfernee Simons led Portland (15-28) with 24 points and Deandre Ayton added 22 points and 15 rebounds in Portland's win. Deni Avdija recorded another double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds and Shaedon Sharpe added 12 points and four assists off the bench.

The Trail Blazers used an 18-2 third quarter run to take their largest lead of the game at 92-65.

Miami (21-21) used a 17-2 run in the fourth to cut Portland's lead to seven at 110-103 with 2:51 remaining but a hoop from Simons and free throws from Grant and Avdija secured the win for the Trail Blazers.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will travel to Orlando to meet the Magic on Thursday afternoon. The game is scheduled to tip off at 4:00 PM.
