Beavs, Andersen part ways! Cory Hall takes over as Interim Coach

This morning, about 7:45 I posted an article here on the Rip City Radio website about this being the halfway point of the season and what would the six remaining games look like. Then at about 11:30 I heard the newsthat Gary Andersen was walking away from Oregon State after two and a half seasons. I am surprised like most of you that he would leave at this juncture.

Cory Hall, who has a ton of experience as an assistant coach, as a player at Fresno State and in the NFL will wear the Interim coach tag for the remainder of 2017. The news conference is an unusual one that I posted here at RIP CITY RADIO 620. Athletic Director Scott Barnes and Coach Andersen are friends and you could tell this was a difficult day for Barnes. Hall meanwhile says his team will celebrate Coach Andersen this Saturday when Colorado comes to Corvallis. He adds that the Beavers will be ready to play the Buffaloes. If you are a Beaver fan be sure to watch all of this!!
