OSU Women's basketball heads to Maui ranked 21st!

The Beavers loved playing at Duke. Cameron Indoor Stadium is one of those iconic basketball arenas and Oregon State didn't disappoint. Yah, they lost to 16th-ranked Duke but almost pulled off a huge upset. Oregon State still learning how to play without the likes of WNBA player Sydney Weise and 2016-Pac 12 defensive player of the year Gabby Hanson....the young Beaver trailed the Blue Devils 58-57 with just three minutes remaining.  However, Duke's tandem of redshirt Senior guards proved to be opportunistic at crunch time and they escaped with a 72-65 win. Now, the Beavers travel 6,000 miles in the other direction. From North Carolina to Maui!!!

The Maui Jim Classic will feature Oregon State facing Nevada Friday night at 9:pm Pacific time and Utah State Saturday at 9:pm. A chance for the young Beavs to get better as they prepare to go for a fourth-straight Pac-12 title
