Kat Tudor coming of age for 17th ranked Beavers

The bad news if you are a Beaver fan....the seven-year 14 game winning streak came to an end Sunday at Matthew S. Knight arena. Oregon held off the Beavers 75-63. The split didn't really shake up the AP TOP 25 for either team. Oregon remained at #7....the Beavers moved up one slot to 17. One of the difference makers for Oregon State in Friday night's epic win over the Ducks in overtime 85-79 was Sophomore guard Kat Tudor who had an incredible seven three-pointers and wound up with a career high 34 points. Right after the game she talked to me about the exciting win over their rival.

The Beavers now must head to the mountain schools for two tough games this week. (The Ducks with the same challenge). Oregon State facing a much improved Utah team. Both teams have identical 14-5 and 5-3 in the Pac-12 records. The game begins at 5:pm pacific time from the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City.
