60 days and counting until the official regular season start of the Jonathan Smith era at Oregon State. I thought since it will be here in a flash....let's get to work on the Beavers opponents and see if this new coaching staff and roster can improve on last year's disaster of an 1-11 season.
Ohio State will host the Beavers on Saturday September first. A 9:am kickoff Pacific Time....Noon at the horseshoe in Columbus.
The Buckeyes were oh so close to securing a spot in the College Football playoffs last season but most observers say they were one win short. The biggest concern for Buckeye's fans is the departure of their starting quarterback J.T.Barrett. I did talk to an Ohio State Athletic Department official who told me they are concerned about the Beaver game because of the unknown's at that position. He believes the running game will be on big display against Oregon State Labor Day weekend.
SG1 Sports a big follower of Big Ten Football projects the Buckeyes to once again be a contender for the Big Ten Title and say a 10-2 record is likely for Urban Meyer's squad.
i included highlight's from their Scarlet and Gray spring game. We will dive into the Buckeye's and the Beavers a lot more throughout July and don't forget August 3RD the opening of OSU training camp!
