Xavier Crawford has decided to leave Oregon State. A two-year starter at cornerback, Crawford is heading to Central Michigan. Cory Hall the former DB coach at Oregon State and for a brief stint the Interim head coach is an assistant at Central Michigan
Since he graduated from Oregon State last month....he is a graduate transfer and will be able to suit up for Central Michigan. He was projected to most likely start for Oregon State. He did start the first five games last season but missed the final seven games with a back injury.
The Oregon State secondary was thought of as one of the strongest on the Beaver defense. Crawford's experience and talent will be missed. However, an opportunity for others to step up in the new Jonathan Smith era of OSU football.
Oregon State training camp gets underway August 3rd.
