Beaver RB Artavis Pierce ready to go to work vs Buckeyes!!

It is always great to see how players transform. Many freshman and sophomores get an opportunity to contribute to the success of a college football team. In Artavis Pierce, the Beavers have a junior running back ready to step into the limelight. He has played 23 games for the Beavers but has started just two. Of course he was being patient and taking advantage of the moments when he came into the lineup spelling other talented backs including Ryan Nall. Last season, 846 yards on 166 carries....that adds up to 5.1 yds per carry. Last season he carried the ball 12 times for 60 yards against a tough USC defense.

The Auburndale high school (that is in Florida)  grad spent some time with the Beaver Media this week and says he's ready to do whatever it takes to get the Beavers back on track in 2018. Pregame coverage of the Beavers and Buckeyes is set for 6:am on 1190 KEX with the kickoff at 9:07 am
