Ariana Grande finally let the world in on an ounce of her pain.

On Thursday (September 28), the "sweetener" singer opened up to her fans on Twitter, revealing her current heartbreaking emotional state. “Can i pls have one okay day. just one. pls,” she first tweeted, before adding, “i’m so f**king tired pls” and “jus wake me up when i’m supposed to sing or whatever. peace.” Ariana also responded "j f**king k" (meaning just kidding) to a previous tweet that she wrote last week that read, "everything will be okay."

It's been a tough year for the 25-year-old singer. Just three weeks ago, Ariana suffered the loss of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, who was found dead of an apparent overdose on September 7. In addition to coping with the 26-year-old rapper's sudden death, Ariana is admittedly still working through the trauma caused by a terrorist attack at her Dangerous Woman Tour in Machester in May 2017, where a suicide bomber killed 22 people and injured more than 500 at her show.

Despite her initial emotional tweets, Ariana still managed to thank her fans for their support during this trying time. “ty for loving me sm i do not deserve it,” she wrote. “ur angels in my life. it’s just been a tough month. i’m trying to get my work done and get back to normal and it’s hard and i’m human and tired. sorry i let u in or worried u. i shouldn’t have tweeted. i kno better.”

As previously reported, Ariana's team recently revealed that the 25-year-old singer would be taking some time off to "mend." “Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend,” her team told People after she skipped out on the 2018 Emmy Awards earlier this month. “She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.”
