There is no doubt Johnny Hekker was a pretty good Quarterback at Bothell High School north of Seattle. Now he is in the running for perhaps the greatest passing punter in NFL history. His fake punt yesterday for the Rams to help them out of the abyss was the 12th of his career. He is now 12 of 20 for 106 yards and 11 of those passes were for a first down.
And he was money as the holder yesterday. He held down that football perfectly for Greg Zuerlein and his 57 yard field goal to win the game.
Brandin Cooks was solid with seven receptions for 107 yards and Sean Mannion well did his part as the backup Quarterback.
