8-0 Beavers host West Virginia in home opener at Goss!!

Well I thought a little trip down memory lane would help Beaver Baseball fans get ready for the home opener at Goss Stadium Friday against West Virginia. Nearly seven years ago the Mountaineers visited Corvallis and were spanked by OSU 11-0. Ben Wetzler pitched a fabulous one-hitter. Weztler, by the way was assigned to the Los Angeles Dodgers on February 23rd so he is still chasing that Major League dream. Good luck to the lefty!!

The home opener begins at 5:35 Friday. Kevin Abel gets the start for Pat Bailey.
