Beavers get first round bye and will play Cal or Colorado Thursday

 

The Oregon State Beavers have completed their most successful conference season in 29 years!

The Beavs got off to a slow start Saturday but got untracked to beat Washington State 85-77. Tres Tinkle led

Oregon State with 26 points and 12 rebounds. The 10-8 conference record is the first winning record for Oregon State since the 1989-90 season when they went 15-3 and won a share of the Pac-10 title.

The win ensures Oregon State of a first round bye and they will wait to see who they will play on Thursday. Either Cal or Colorado.
