Adley homers twice but the Beavers lose to UCLA 9-6 and Bruins win 2 0f 3

The Oregon State Beavers lost two of the three games they played at UCLA this past weekend. Adley Rutschman did everything he could on the offensive side hitting two homers Sunday but Oregon State starter Sam Tweedt didn't have his good stuff....sent to the showers after getting just one out in the first inning. The Beavers lose 9-6 and UCLA takes the series two out of three. Rutschman's first homer was a monster clout that carried over the batter's eye in center field....estimated at 450 feet

The video above is from Saturday's 7-3 win.

The bright spot in that game was the performance of Junior lefty Brandon Eisert. Eisert threw 4 2/3 scoreless innings and struck out 10 to raise his record this season to 5-0.

The Beavers return homer for a series against the Cal Bears Friday at 7:pm
