A busy day in Corvallis for Beaver fans. The annual Spring Football game gets started at 11:am . It will be interesting to see the progress of the offense and the battle between Jake Luton and Tristan Gebbia at Quarterback. Also, the depth at running back with Jermar Jefferson now a sophomore and Artavis Pierce both healthy. Wide Receiver could be the deepest offensive position with Isaiah Hodgins, Trevon Bradford, Jesiah Irish and Champ Flemings all back. Some of the players above may be held out of today's scrimmage. And on defense keep an eye on the defensive line today. That part of the defense looks much improved so far this spring.
Meanwhile a steady rain cancelled last night's baseball game. So today's doubleheader starts at 2:05pm.....NO TV in the opener and no live stream but the night game at 7;pm will be on ESPN U. You can hear both games on Rip City Radio 620. 1:30 the pregame with Mike Parker calling the action.
Ticketholders from Friday night’s game can use their tickets for the first game of the doubleheader. Those who hold tickets to both games will need to exit and re-enter the stadium in between games.
