Extensive Beavers coverage on Rip City Radio 620 this season!!

The opening of Oregon State's football season is a week from Friday and Rip City Radio 620 and 1190 KEX are ready to provide you with blanket coverage all season long!

First things first.....the three talk shows will all talk Oregon State. "Rip City Mornings" with Dan Sheldon and Nigel Burton will give you the unique insight of a former Pac-10 player who knows a ton about the Pac-12. Nigel and Dan. No doubt this talented duo will talk extensively on Jonathan Smith's team and get you ready for each weekend in the Pac-12.

Brian Noe is in a good spot. His 12-3 time slot gives him an advantage over the morning guys. His show is on when practice ends so a lot of players will be chatting with Brian about what happened the week before and what is next.

The Rip City Drive with Travis Demers and Chad Dewing is must-see TV and radio during their 3-6pm show. Monday at 5:15 during the season, Head Coach Jonathan Smith will be on to talk about the current status of his football team. The fact the show (like the other two) is part of the NBC Sports Northwest family as well gives you a couple of options to tune in. On Friday August 30 ,Chad and Travis will broadcast live from 3-4:30 from Reser Stadium to get you ready for the opener against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Rip City Radio and 1190 KEX are teaming to give Beaver Football games the most powerful coverage in Pacific Northwest history. Both stations blanket Southwest Washington and Oregon from the Coast to the Cascades. The first five Oregon State games will be simulcast on both stations. The remaining games could be depending on the Portland Trailblazers and their start times.

Each game coverage begins three hours before kickoff. I will host the first hour talking to key players, coaches and Oregon State administrators. We also will talk about the opponents with key media and team personnel with the school the Beavers are playing.

Two Hours before kickoff we join our network coverage. Oregon State Hall of Famer Steve Preece joins me to breakdown the upcoming game and talk about other Pac-12 battles that could impact the Beavers place in the Pac-12 north standings.

One hour before kickoff the voice of the Beavers Mike Parker is in the booth along with another OSU Hall of Famer Jim Wilson. The three of us continue the buildup to kickoff and that includes Mike Parker's interview with Jonathan Smith.

For the sixth year in a row On the Field will be a weekly show talking Oregon State Football.Every Tuesday unless there is a Blazer conflict, . It is an hour long show talking Oregon State Football with local and national guests starting at 7:pm
