Ryan Nall is having another stellar summer playing for the Chicago Bears. The former Beaver broke a huge run over the weekend against Indianapolis. The type of run he was known for when he played at Oregon State. Here is the run taken from the Chicago Bears highlight package
Nall ended up with 73 yards on two carries. Head coach Matt Nagy told reporters after the 27-17 win over the Colts:
“You can see, when he’s running in the open field, he’s a big kid and you can’t bring him down with just an arm tackle,” Nagy told reporters after the game. “He showed that.”
Nall told chicagobears.com
I just had to make a guy miss and try to get to the edge. Trying to make the last guy miss, I tried to stiff-arm him, but he ended up bringing me down. It was a great run; I just need to finish.” Nall has one more preseason game Thursday against the Titans to potentially secure a spot on the 53-man roster.
