Can the Beaver defense improve on Oahu?

The Oregon State offense had its hands full with Oklahoma State last Friday. The numbers are ugly. 555 total yards giving up 6.8 yards per carry and the Cowboys 10 of 13 on third down conversions.

Now here comes Hawaii on Oahu Saturday night at 9:pm Portland time. Hawaii has a tremendous offense but it is not Oklahoma State. They did gain 595 yards against Arizona but 436 were in the air so the Beaver defense may be playing against a team not as versatile as the Cowboys. I included the highlights from their game so you can see exactly what I mean. I also am including the post-game thoughts of Nick Rolovich the Hawaii Coach to see what he liked and didn't like in the 45-38 win over a Pac-12 team. Now the Rainbow Warriors are ready to make it two in a row over the conference and add to it they had a bye week this past week to study Oregon State.

I believe the Beavers can beat Hawaii but need the defense to step up and improve all aspects of their game. Some of the injured players like Jalen Moore and Jeffery Manning Jr will help if they can play. More on the Beavers and Hawaii to come
