The win by the Beavers over the Mustangs was impressive. I know, its an FCS team they beat so they should win. However, if you know the history of Oregon State vs the Big Sky there have been a couple of bumps in the road ( 2011 vs Sac State for one) so the 45-7 romp made Saturday afternoon pretty sweet for the players and Beaver Nation.
The players and head coach Jonathan Smith were also upbeat in the post-game news conference.
The Beavers game against Stanford is September 28th so the chance to rest up the banged up bodies while Stanford hosts Oregon can't hurt.
