Now the Beavers are looking to end the drought against Stanford. The Cardinal have lost three straight after opening the season with a 17-7 win over Northwestern. They are struggling but after reading the Bay Area writers story about this game on Saturday they believe the Cardinal will get well against Oregon State. But I doubt they have paid attention to the dramatic improvement in the Oregon State defense and the potential firepower of the Beaver offense.
