Jonathan Smith knows this week is a short turnaround week. The Washington Huskies struggling for them at 5-4 arrive at Reser Stadium Friday night with bowl eligibility on their minds. The Beavers have lost seven in a row to Washington. The last win was in 2011 in Corvallis when the Beavers took care of business 38-21. Last year, the Huskies welcomed Jonathan Smith back to Seattle and it was not close. The Huskies led 28-3 at the end of the first quarter and then cruised to a 42-23 victory.
But in 2019, Oregon State is one of the nation's surprising teams turning heads everywhere. The "B" word was brought up during Jonathan's weekly gab fest with the local media.
