OFFICIAL: Melo to the Blazers

Carmelo Anthony is officially a Portland Trailblazer.

The team made the move to sign the 10-time NBA All-Star complete this morning.

'Melo has not played in over a year. He was inactive for the Houston Rockets after just 10 games before being dealt to the and waived by the Chicago Bulls in late January.

Anthony is a three-time gold medal winner and six-time All-NBA selection. He was selected third overall by the Denver Nuggets behind LeBron James and Darko Milicic in the 2003 NBA Draft, respectively. He won a national championship in his lone college basketball season at Syracuse.

According to Basketball Reference, he has made nearly $260-million dollars in salary during his career. 'Melo holds a career scoring average of 24 points per game over 16 seasons for the Nuggets, Knicks, Thunder and Rockets.
