Oregon State concluded its non-conference schedule with a 83-66 win over North Dakota on Sunday afternoon at Gill Coliseum.
The Beavers improved to 10-2 on the season, equaling their best start through 12 games since the 1984-85 team opened 11-1. The 1989-90, 2011-12 and 2015-16 teams also started 10-2.
Ethan Thompson scored a career-high 25 points, going 7-for-13 from the field, 3-for-5 from beyond the arc and 8-for-8 from the free throw line. He added a season-high eight assists, three rebounds and three steals.
Tres Tinkle added 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.Kylor Kelley finished with 14 points, six rebounds and five blocked shots.
The Beavers had 20 assists on their 28 baskets and committed only seven turnovers.
Oregon State also got solid contributions from its bench, as Jarod Lucas scored nine points,Roman Silva added six points and four rebounds and Payton Dastrup chipped in five points.
North Dakota (6-8) was led by Marlon Stewart's 19 points.
Oregon State opens Pac-12 play at Utah on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. PT in a game televised nationally on Pac-12 Network.
