Hassan Whiteside added 23 points, 21 rebounds, and five blocks, the 12th 20/20 game of his career.
The Wizards were playing without Bradley Beal due to a leg injury and lost Isaiah Thomas early in the game due to an ejection.
Thomas was ejected less than 1 1/2 minutes into the game for making contact with an official. Thomas was tied up along the sideline by Portland's Carmelo Anthony. As he broke away from Anthony he made contact with referee Marat Kogut, who took a tumble into the crowd.
Lillard scored 13 points in the second quarter as the Blazers took a 66-58 lead into halftime. The Wizards cut the deficit to 68-64 on a 6-2 run to open the third, but the Blazers would later respond in the period with an 11-1 run to take control of the game.
Carmelo Anthony scored 16 points and pulled down six rebounds on 7-of-9 shooting.
Mario Hezonja returned after missing four games with lower back pain. He scored 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting.
