Beavers comeback falls short ASU wins 82-76

It is still kinda weird watching an entire basketball game on my phone. Last night I was on a bus heading to Tucson from the Phoenix Airport. The Oregon State Women's basketball team plays at Arizona tonight. The Beavers ranked #3 in the nation.......Arizona 18. But back to the bus, We were watching Wayne Tinkle's team play Arizona State and it wasn't pretty. The Beavers were coming off that big win in Colorado last Sunday and were back home at Gill playing ASU.

The Beavers were ice cold in the first half shooting just 8 of 23 from the field and trailed by 11. The did show signs of life in the final few minutes cutting the Arizona State lead to just four but time ran out and the Sun Devils won it 82-76. Wayne Tinkle nailed what happened in the Beavers home opener: " A tough way to open up things here at home in conference play. Give Arizona credit. They came out hungrier than us

Here is the Oregon State postgame news conference:

The Beavers now 11-4 on the season on 1-2 in Pac-12 play host Arizona Sunday night. Pregame coverage on 1190 KEX is at 7:30pm. Mike Parker on the call.
