It was bedlam at Gill Coliseum! The Beavers trailed Arizona State for most of the game and it looked bleak with 5:52 to go. Arizona State was up 54-46. Then, Aleah Goodman took over the game. She hits two three-pointers for the Beavs and then goes coast to coast to tie the game 54-54 with 3:40 to go.

The two teams then matched baskets until the final 3.1 seconds. Oregon State trailed 62-60/ Scott Rueck is a master at the inbounds play. The ball was inbounded to Maddie Washington. She delivered a perfect back door pass to Kat Tudor and the game was tied 62-62 with 0.1 seconds on the clock. ASU inbounded the ball but they let it go out of bounds and no one touched it so it was Oregon State ball. The officials looked at a replay of the Tudor bucket and adjusted the clock to 0.4 and the rest is history. Here is the Pac-12 highlightr package that shows both plays:

No doubt one of the most exciting comeback wins in Oregon State Women's basketball history. Scott Rueck told me afterwards that it seemed like three games. He had a technical and he had a lot of great things to say in the post-game news conference.

The battle continues in the Pac-12 tomorrow. Arizona ciomes to Corvallis after getting slammed by Oregon 85-52. Pregame coverage on the Beaver Sports Network is set for 11:30 am with the tip at 12:06
