It wasn't the prettiest of Oregon State victories but they will take it. The Beavers have reached another level on defense of late and it is paying off. Back-to-back wins in the conference for the first time this season giving the Beavers some confidence and hope heading into the final third of the Pac-12 season. They held Utah to 19 first half points and led 35-19 at halftime. The Beavers pickup their most consistent win of the season scoring 35 more in the second half and cruise to a 70-51 victory.
Kylor Kelley was his usual self.....16 points with nine rebounds and two blocks. Ethan Thompson picks up a double-double with 13 points and 11 assists and Tres Tinkle added 11 points and eight boards. Check out the current Pac-12 Standings because the Beavers have another big challenge Saturday.

Wayne Tinkle loves the fact the Beavers are starting to hit on all cylinders:
The Beavers have a chance to top another Top 25 team tomorrow. Colorado is in the 16 spot and remembers the comeback victory over the Buffaloes by the Beavers last month using that 1-3-1 defense to befuddle Colorado.
Pregame coverage with Mike Parker is set for 6:30 pm from Gill with the tip at 7:pm. The game will be nationally televised by FS1
