The Beavers knew they were in for a fight. The Pac-12 player of the week Amber Melgoza was on fire all night long scoring 34 points. But the Beavers offense was just a little better. Aleah Goodman has 22 points and hit six three-point bombs to lead the Beavs past U-Dub 75-64. The Beavers control their own destiny when it comes to hosting the first and second rounds of the NCAA tournament. They are a bubble team right now but can solidify their case by beating the Cougs on Sunday and then putting on a good show at the Pac-12 tournament in Las Vegas next week.
