The Oregon City Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Weathervane Coffee House, located at 13001 Clackamas River Drive in Oregon City, on August 8, 2020 at around 11:20 PM. The Weathervane Coffee House shares a parking lot with the Chevron and Red Barn Car Wash at that location.
The suspect, who robbed an employee at gun point, is described as a white male adult 25-35 years-old, 5-10 to 6 feet tall, wearing light washed jeans, a black or dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a zipper down the front, white shoes, a watch on his left wrist and a red bandanna over his lower face. The suspect may have had an injury to his left hand/finger at that time. The suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle what was later recovered in the area of Clackamas Road and SE Rainier Court in Clackamas.
The Oregon City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect and/or witnesses in the area near the time of the robbery. The photograph included with this press release is of the suspect at the time of the robbery.
