It didn't take long for the LA Clippers to dispose of the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday night in Los Angeles. Kawhi Leonard scored a game-high 28 points and Paul George recorded a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds in a 128-105 rout.
The Clippers led by 11 after the first quarter and pushed their advantage to 76-57 at halftime as they coasted to victory. The Clippers connected on 49.5% of their field goals including 18-of-38 from three-point range.
The Clippers did a great job of moving the basketball to find open shooters, and they outworked the Blazers to gain an edge in all of the key statistical categories.
LA had a 47-41 edge in rebounds, they dominated Portland 52-26 in the paint, and they forced 19 turnovers leading to 17 points.
CJ McCollum led Portland (2-2) with 25 points. Damian Lillard finished with just 20 points on 3-of-14 shooting including 0-for-8 from downtown.
