Damian Lillard scored a game-high 40 points and dished out 13 assists as the Portland Trail Blazers won their fourth-straight game 132-126 over the Sacramento Kings.
CJ McCollum added 28 points and 10 assists and Jusuf Nurkic recorded a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds to give Lillard plenty of support. Gary Trent Jr. led the bench with 16 points on 4-of-5 shooting from three-point range.
The Blazers trailed by 20 at 58-38 with 7:20 remaining in the first half, but they trimmed the deficit to three heading into the halftime break thanks to a 27-10 run.
Portland struggled to start the third quarter and once again faced a big deficit at 94-75, but they responded with a 25-11 burst to close the quarter. The Blazers would put the game away with a 16-9 run in the final 5:29 of the game.
The Trail Blazers connected on 48.9% of their field goals including 23-of-48 from beyond-the-arc, and dished out 28 assists.
Notes- Tonight marked the first time the Blazers have had two players with 25 plus points and 10 plus assists since Clyde Drexler and Terry Porter did it back in March of 1992. The Blazers tied a franchise record with 23 made three-pointers.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers return to Portland to meet the Indiana Pacers Thursday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
