He was battered and bruised after a long six-game road trip, but that didn't stop Damian Lillard form exploding on Tuesday night for 36 points and five rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers (13-10) cruised past the Orlando Magic 106-97 Tuesday night at Moda Center.
Lillard connected on 5-of-10 from three-point range and connected on 13-of-13 from three free throw line.
Carmelo Anthony bounced back from a rough outing Saturday in New York to score a season-high 23 points and moved past Oscar Robertson into 12th on the NBA's All-Time scoring list.
Anthony hit a 3-pointer that gave the Blazers a 93-79 lead early in the fourth quarter and Portland didn't let the Magic get within single digits until the final seconds.
Gary Trent Jr. got the start at guard next to Lillard and scored 16 points and added a career-high six assists.
Nikola Vucevic had 27 points and 15 rebounds for the short-handed Magic, who have lost six of their last seven games.
