Trail Blazers Silence The Thunder

----- The Trail Blazers closed the game on an 18-2 run as they win their fifth-straight game with a 115-104 victory over the OKC Thunder Tuesday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

Damian Lillard scored 14 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter including 12 points during an 18-2 run that put the Thunder away in the Blazers 115-104 win over the Thunder Tuesday night in Oklahoma City.

The win was the Blazers fifth-straight improving their record to 17-10 on the season.

The Blazers led by as many as 24 points in the game, but the Thunder charged back to take a 102-97 lead with 4:48 remaining in the game.

Lillard would respond with a quick three followed by a Gary Trent Jr. triple to get Portland the lead back for good. Lillard would add two more threes to extend the Blazers lead to 109-102.

"If I'm going to be the leader of the team and be the player I say I am, I have to answer the call," Lillard said after the game.

Once again, the Blazers had multiple players make game-winning plays to give Damian Lillard plenty of support.

Enes Kanter finished with 21 rebounds, Trent finished with 19 points, Derrick Jones Jr. added 13 points and seven rebounds, and Robert Covington was everywhere with six points, nine rebounds, five assists, and six blocked shots.

Off the bench, Portland got 15 points from Anfernee Simons, 13 from Nassir Little, and Carmelo Anthony finished with 10 points.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will play the second of a back-to-back tomorrow night in New Orleans against the Pelicans. The game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 PM.
