Wizards Surprise Trail Blazers

----- Russell Westbrook finished with a triple-double 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists and Bradley Beal scored a game-high 37 points as the Washington Wizards won their fourth-straight with a 118-111 win over the Portland Trail Blazers Saturday night at Moda Center.

The Portland Trail Blazers shot a season-low 35.9% as their six-game winning streak comes to an end with a 118-111 loss to the Washington Wizards Saturday night at Moda Center.

Bradley Beal scored 37 points on 16-of-27 shooting and Russell Westbrook finished with a triple-double 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists as Washington (10-17) won their fourth-straight game.

The Blazers scored 43 points in the first quarter connecting on 8-of-17 from three-point range building a 12-point lead but were outscored 30-12 in the second quarter as they managed to make just four of their 25 shots in the quarter.

Gary Trent Jr. cut the Wizards advantage to 103-101 on a three-pointer with 4:23 remaining, but the Wizards responded with a quick 11-3 run to put the game away.

Damian Lillard led Portland (18-11) with 35 points and Enes Kanter finished with 19 points and 13 rebounds.

''We were on a winning streak too but they were feeling confident,'' Kanter said. ''They beat three good teams before us and they were playing confident, making shots. We cannot let our offense affect our defense.''

Up Next- The Trail Blazers start a three-game road trip Monday night in Phoenix against the Suns. The game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 PM.
