Trail Blazers Outgun Celtics

----- CJ McCollum finished with 33 points, five rebounds, and five assists as the Portland Trail Blazers improved to 4-0 on their six-game road trip with a 129-119 victory over the Boston Celtics Sunday afternoon at TD Garden.

Road-magic continues for the Trail Blazers!

CJ McCollum, Norman Powell, and Damian Lillard combined for 82 points as the Portland Trail Blazers extended their winning streak to four-games with a 129-119 victory over the Boston Celtics Sunday afternoon at TD Garden.

Portland (36-28) improved to 4-0 on their current six-game road trip.

The Trail Blazers had multiple players contribute to the win. McCollum led the team with 33 points, Lillard finished with 26 points and 13 assists, and Powell added 23 and three assists.

Jusuf Nurkic continued his improved play finished with a double-double, 14 points and 11 rebounds on 6-of-10 shooting. He added two steals while moving well and directing the Blazers' defense.

After the teams went into halftime tied at 71, Portland capitalized on six turnovers in the third quarter and led 103-98 entering the fourth quarter.

Back-to-back three-pointers from McCollum and Carmelo Anthony gave Portland a 113-106 lead with 6:49 to play.

The Celtics stayed within a basket or two and had another chance after Tatum hit a pair of free throws to pull Boston within 121-119 with 1:21 left to play.

But Anthony answered for Portland with a three-pointer and after a miss by the Celtics, Powell took it the other way for a layup to put the game away for the Blazers.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will play the second of a back-to-back tomorrow night in Atlanta against the Hawks. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 PM.

Chad's Take- Not sure how they did it, but starting their road trip 4-0 after losing five-straight is impressive. Props to the players and coaches.
