The Utah Jazz were playing without Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley Jr. on Wednesday night and the Trail Blazers took advantage.
Damian Lillard scored 30 points and dished out six assists and CJ McCollum had 26 as the Portland Trail Blazers won their fifth-straight game 105-98 over the Utah Jazz Wednesday night at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Jordan Clarkson led Utah with 29 points and Rudy Gobert finished with 15 points and 20 rebounds.
Portland's defense frustrated Utah into just 41.2% shooting including just 12-of-40 from three-point range. The Jazz also committed 12 turnovers leading to 16 Blazers' points.
After a back-and-forth first half, the Blazers pulled away in the second half. The Jazz opened the third quarter missing 11 of their 12 shots from the floor over an eight-minute stretch as the built an 84-71 lead.
The Jazz never got closer than nine-points the rest of the way.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers will play the second of a back-to-back tomorrow night in Phoenix against the Suns. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
