Kaminsky was the word!

Frank Kaminsky scored a career high 31 points leading the Phoenix Suns to their sixth-straight win 119-109 over the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday night at Footprint Center.

Kaminsky continued his terrific play filling in for the injured Deandre Ayton. Kaminsky has at least 10 points in four of the past five games and was superb against Portland connecting on 12 of his 18 shots and grabbing seven rebounds.

The Suns (7-3) led 60-47 at halftime and never relinquished their lead in the second half.

Damian Lillard led Portland (5-7) with 28 points and Norman Powell added 23. The Blazers connected on just 7-of-30 from beyond the arc with Lillard and CJ McCollum combining to make just 2-of-11.

The Blazers struggles on defense continued as they struggled with their communication and rotations allowing the Suns to connect on 52.1% of their shots.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will travel to Houston to meet the Rockets on Friday evening. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 PM.

Chad's Take- Frank Kaminsky scored 31 points.
