It didn't take long for the San Antonio Spurs to dispose of the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday night at Moda Center.
Dejounte Murray scored 15 points and added 15 assists and Bryn Forbes led the team in scoring with 18 points as the Spurs hammered the Blazers 114-83.
The Spurs connected on 48.4% of their field goals including 14-of-36 from three-point range.
San Antonio jumped out to a 32-22 lead at the end of the first and pushed the lead to 21 at halftime. The Blazers never recovered and never threatened in the second half.
The Spurs defense frustrated the Blazers forcing 18 turnovers leading to 27 points.
After the game, Blazers Coach Chauncy Billups was frustrated with his team's performance.
"I want us to compete harder. I want us to be more competitive in every game. I don't feel like we do that, and it concerns me. And I've felt that way in a lot of our wins. This is not just after a loss, me saying that."
The Blazers offense failed to find the mark connecting on just 35.4% of their shots including just 12-of-34 from beyond-the-arc.
Up Next- The Portland Trail Blazers host the Boston Celtics Saturday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
