Nuggets Drub Trail Blazers

----- Nikola Jokic finished with eight points, 18 rebounds, and 11 assists as the Denver Nuggets won their sixth-straight game 124-92 over the Portland Trail Blazers Sunday night at Moda Center.

The Denver Nuggets are hitting their stride as they enter the stretch-run of the season.

Nikola Jokic finished with eight points, 18 rebounds, and 11 assists and JaMychal Green added 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Denver Nuggets won their sixth-straight game with a 124-92 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Demarcus Cousins added 19 points, eight rebounds, and six assists and Bryn Forbes scored 17 points on 5-of-6 shooting from three-point range.

The Nuggets connected on 51.2% of their field goals, had a 55-42 edge in rebounding, and scored 62 points in the paint.

Anfernee Simons led Portland (25-36) with 16 points and Drew Eubanks added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Blazers kept the game close in the first quarter and trailed by just five-points at 32-27 entering the second quarter. Denver opened the period with an 18-4 run to take control of the game. Portland never threatened again.

Stat of the night- The Nuggets Bench nearly matched the Blazers output with 76 points.

Up Next- The Blazers will travel to Phoenix to meet the Suns on Wednesday evening. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
