Trae Young scored a game-high 46 points as the Atlanta Hawks topped the Portland Trail Blazers 122-113 Monday night at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Young connected on 15 of his 31 shots while adding 12 assists. He scored 21 of his 46 in the third quarter helping the Hawks overcome a 15-point deficit.
Young scored 56 points against the Blazers back on January 3rd in a 136-131 Trail Blazers victory.
Josh followed up his career-high 44 points on Saturday to led Portland (26-41) with 31 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Hart connected on 11-of-21 from the floor including 4-fo-7 from beyond-the-arc. He has hit 10-of-16 from three-point range in his last two games.
Trendon Watford finished with 22 points and nine rebounds and Drew Eubanks chipped in a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Youth and inexperience showed up for the Blazers in the loss. They committed 21 turnovers leading to 29 points for the Hawks.
The Trail Blazers took a 67-58 lead into halftime after the Hawks shot just 32.3% from the field in the first half.
The Blazers scored the first six-points of the third quarter to extend their lead to 73-58 before Young took over the game.
