Portland (27-44) played with great energy throughout the game forcing 17 turnovers and grabbing 17 offensive rebounds.

Saddiq Bey led Detroit (19-53) with 25 points and six rebounds and Cade Cunningham finished with 25 points, seven assists, and four steals.
Detroit, which trailed by 23 points in the third period, took a 106-105 lead on Luka Garza's free throw with 5:02 to play before Portland responded with a 7-2 run.
Cunningham had two key turnovers down the stretch, and Brandon Williams' layup put the Trail Blazers up 116-112 with 47.8 seconds to go.
