Nets Swat The Blazers

----- Kevin Durant scored 31 points, Seth Curry added 29, and Kyrie Irving finished with 22 points and six assists as the Brooklyn Nets topped the Portland Trail Blazers 111-97 Sunday afternoon at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Kevin Durant scored a game-high 31 points and Seth Curry added 29 points off the bench as the Brooklyn Nets sent the Trail Blazers back to Portland with a 111-97 loss Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn.

The Blazers mustered just 17 points in the fourth quarter connecting on just 6-of-19 shooting 31.6%. Portland (11-9) has now dropped six of their last eight games.

“Tough little stretch that we're in right now,” Portland coach Chauncey Billups said. “It is what it is. Every team goes through it.”

Jerami Grant scored a team-high 29 points and Jusuf Nurkic recorded a double-double with 17 points, 14 rebounds, and four assists.

With the Nets leading by four entering the fourth, Curry scored Brooklyn’s first eight points of the quarter. Royce O’Neale's free throw gave the Nets a 93-87 lead and following a Portland turnover, Curry made a three-pointer that extended the advantage to nine.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers return home to meet the Los Angeles Clippers Tuesday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
