Blazers Road Woes Continue In Indiana

----- The Indiana Pacers closed the game on a 15-2 run to defeat the Portland Trail Blazers 108-99 Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Fourth quarter woes cost the Trail Blazers again!

Jerami Grant stepped up to the line with 6:40 left in Friday night's game at Indiana and connected on two free throws giving Portland four-point lead at 97-93. The Blazers were once again in good position late to get a win, but their fourth quarter woes reared their ugly head once again.

The Pacers responded by closing the game on a 15-2 run capitalizing on Blazers' turnovers, missed shots, and defensive miscues pushing them to a 108-99 victory Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Ben Mathurin led the Pacers with 19 points and Myles Turner added 17 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.

Anfernee Simons scored a team-high 20 points and Damian Lillard finished with 19 points and eight assists.

The Blazers finished with 30 assists on the night, but that success was partly negated by 18 turnovers leading to 29 Pacers' points.

It appeared Indiana's 11-0 run in the third quarter, which gave the Pacers a 78-70 lead, might be the knockout blow. But the Trail Blazers scored the final seven points of the quarter to take an 82-81 lead and opened the fourth by extending it to 88-83.

Up Next- The Blazers conclude their three-game road trip Sunday in Toronto against the Raptors. The game is scheduled to tip off at 12:30 PM.

Chad's Take- Blazers just 9-15 since their 10-4 start.
