Wizards Put A Spell On Blazers

----- Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis combined for 61 points as the Washington Wizards dropped the Portland Trail Blazers 126-101 Tuesday night at Moda Center.

Trail Blazers stumble into the All-Star break with a 126-101 loss to the Wizards.

Kyle Kuzma scored a team-high 33 points and Kristaps Porzingis finished with 28 points and 12 rebounds as the Washington Wizards hammered the Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday night at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Kuzma connected on 11 of his 20 shots including 6-of-10 from three-point range.

The Blazers struggled defensively allowing the Wizards to connect on 57% of their field goals including 17-of-33 from beyond-the-arc.

Damian Lillard scored a game-high 39 points but managed just 5-of-17 from three. Cam Reddish scored 18 and Shaedon Sharpe added 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting.

The Blazers were still in striking distance at halftime trailing 59-52, but the Wizards took control of the game with a 21-10 run to open the third. Portland never threatened the rest of the way.

Up Next- Trail Blazers will enter the All-Star break at 28-30. Next game will be February 23rd at Sacramento against the Kings. Game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.

Chad's Take- Will be interesting to see how the Trail Blazers approach the final 24-games of the regular season.
