Hawks Rout Trail Blazers 129-111

----- Dejounte Murray scored a career-high 41 points and Trae Young added 23 points and 11 assists as the Atlanta Hawks handed the Portland Trail Blazers their third-straight loss 129-111 Friday night at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Hawks made easy work of the Portland Trail Blazers Friday night in Atlanta.

Dejounte Murray scored a career-high 41 points and Trae Young added 23 points and 11 assists as Atlanta dominated Portland 129-111 at State Farm Arena.

Murray's two highest-scoring games in his career have come against the Trail Blazers. His previous career-high was 40-points scored at Moda Center earlier this year in January.

Murray and company helped Quinn Snyder earn his first win as head coach of the Hawks.

Snyder, the former Utah coach, agreed to a five-year deal as Atlanta's coach on Feb. 26, five days after the firing of Nate McMillan. The Hawks lost to Washington 119-116 on Tuesday night in Snyder's debut.

Atlanta (32-31) shot 57.1% from the field and 46.2% from three-point range.

Portland (29-34) got 33 points and eight assists from Damian Lillard and 25 points from Cam Reddish.

The Hawks scored 56 points in the paint, held a 43-34 edge in rebounding, and forced 18 turnovers. Atlanta held a 24-9 edge in second chance points.

The Trail Blazers never led in the game.
