Jusuf Nurkic led Portland (31-40) with 23 points and 11 rebounds on 9-of-14 shooting and Damian Lillard scored 21. Trendon Watford added 12 points and three rebounds.
The Clippers held a 19-13 edge in second-chance points, 49-40 edge in rebounds, and help Portland to an abysmal 6-of-29 shooting from three-point range.
Portland never led in the game, closed the deficit to 103-97 with 7:00 minutes to play on a Nurkic layup. Los Angeles responded with a 12-2 run to put the game away.
Assistant coach Dan Craig was the acting head coach for the Clippers because Tyronn Lue had a non-COVID illness and did not travel with the team.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers will travel to Utah to meet the Jazz on Wednesday evening. The game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 PM.
