Trail Blazers Rout The 76ers

Portland (14-33) trailed by eight-points at the end of the first quarter, but they closed the first half on an 11-2 run to take a 58-55 halftime lead.

The Trail Blazers continued to poor it on the second half opening the third quarter on a 22-8 run to push their lead to 17 at 80-63. A Simons three-point play at the end of the quarter gave Portland a 94-77 edge heading into the fourth.

Portland opened the fourth on an 11-2 run taking a 26-point lead at 105-79. The Blazers led by as many as 31-points in the fourth and cruised to an easy victory.

Deandre Ayton continued his recent stretch of solid-play finishing with 18 points and six rebounds and Scoot Henderson led the Blazers in bench scoring with 22 points.

Philadelphia (29-16) played without Joel Embiid, Robert Covington, and Tyrese Maxey.

Up Next- Damian Lillard makes his return to Portland as the Trail Blazers host the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
