Jabari Walker finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds and Dalano Banton added 19 points and seven rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 122-92 blowout victory over the Memphis Grizzlies Friday night at FedExForum.
Portland (16-42) played without Scoot Henderson (strained adductor muscle), Deandre Ayton (sprained hand), and Malcolm Brogdon (elbow tendonitis). Duop Reath got the start at center and finished with 18 points and five rebounds and Kris Murray finished with 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting.
The Trail Blazers took control of the game in the third quarter building a 91-72 lead on 78% shooting in the period. Memphis never threatened in the fourth.
Portland outrebounded Memphis 46-30 and forced 23 Grizzlies' turnovers.
The Trail Blazers outscored the Grizzlies 71-47 in the second half.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers will play the second of a back-to-back in Memphis tomorrow night against the Grizzlies. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 PM.
